Scooters and Electric Scooters:
- Small, foldable scooters can be carried on DB trains without any additional charge or reservation. They must be folded and stored in the designated luggage areas.
- Electric scooters (e-scooters) are allowed, but they must adhere to size and weight restrictions. They should be folded and carried as luggage.
- Riding or charging e-scooters on trains or platforms is prohibited.
General Restrictions:
- All personal electric vehicles (PEVs) must remain powered off during transport.
- PEVs should not obstruct aisles, doors, or emergency exits.
- The total dimensions for luggage, including e-scooters, should fit within the standard dimensions of 700 x 500 x 300 mm, although slightly larger items can be accommodated as long as they can be carried by one person and stowed properly.
- Shared or rented PEVs (like those from Lime or Bird) are generally not allowed within the DB system.
